A successful garden requires the Gardener

Psalm 128:1 Blessed are all who fear Yehovah, who walk in obedience to Him. 2You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Through the last few years of our learning experience, we have discovered a relatable truth to our walk of  faith.  If we are not out in the garden, we will fail.

To have an abundance of produce, fruit or flowers, whatever it is you are desiring to grow, you must tend to the garden.  Weeds need to be eradicated as soon as possible so valuable nutrients for your plants are not stolen.  The soil needs to be fed continuously with food and water or your plants will starve.

Here is my garden so far this year and it is only May.  But look at what a little time and attention will do.

If the Gardener, Himself, is not present on a daily basis in our lives, we will starve.  If we do not saturate ourselves in His presence and His word, we will not be fed and receive our nutrients.  If sin is not addressed and eradicated as soon as we are aware of it, it will root in and rob us of abundance.

So many valuable lessons are in the garden if we will just pay attention.
